JAMMU, May 6: Closing ceremony of sports meet of sub junior category of Environment Educational Institute was held in the premises of the Institute, here today.
The week-long sports meet included tricycle race, balloon-bursting, banana eating race, trampoline jump, obstacle race and frog race, which were performed by the budding athletes of the School.
Chander Shekher, Secretary of the management committee of the Institution gave away the prizes and the medals to the winners.
The special event was the blowing of Shankh by a student of preparatory class, Swastika Sharma, leaving everyone spell-bound.
The pigeon flying was another event which added colour to the occasion.
Principal Usha Anand presented welcome address.
The medal winners of State Level Wushu Championship held recently and the winners of various events held during the meet were felicitated on the occasion
In Balloon bursting, Pritam, Divya and Puyash bagged first three positions, while in Tricolour race Sushant, Kum Kum and Shreshat claimed first three places respectively.
Vote of thanks was presented by Alka Saraf, while the proceedings of the programme were conducted by Khashma Mengi.
