SAMBA, Apr 4: A dead body of a mobile cloth merchant was found hanging with a tree in village Sumb near Samba this afternoon.
He has been identified as Amandeep son of Inder Paul of Tibber district Gurdaspur in Punjab who was presently putting up at Vijaypur.
He was a mobile cloth merchant. The passers by after seeing the body informed P/P Goran Samba where from a Police party led by S I, Parmod Kumar and shifted the body to District Hospital Samba for postmortem.
The police has registered a case under Section 174. Police has yet to ascertain whether the man has committed suicide or he was done to death on the basis of rivalry.
