JAMMU, Sept 12: Inter-College Volleyball Tournament for Men 2019-20 was organised by the Department of Student Welfare, Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) in the premises of Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, here.
The Tournament was inaugurated by Pawan Sharma, Financial Advisor, Cluster University of Jammu, who was the chief guest.
While appreciating the players, Mr Sharma said, students should more actively involve themselves in various sports activities for their all-round development.
In the 1st match, Govt SPMR College of Commerce defeated Govt College of Education by 2-0.
The second match was inaugurated by Dr Anil Gupta, Principal, Govt SPMR College of Commerce in which GGM Science College Jammu defeated Govt. MAM College by 2-0.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator CLUJ, Malik Ajaz, Physical Director, SPMR College, Sumnesh Sharma, Physical Director MAM College, Prof Shafqat Jahangir, Prof Shri Kant Sharma, Prof Sham Singh Kotwal and Pawan Giri PTI.
The matches were officiated by Mulkh Raj Sharma, Anil Kumar, Parvinder Singh, Neha Bhagat and Hritika Sharma.
