CM announces relief for Uri road accident victims

SRINAGAR, June 28: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has announced relief of Rs. 1 lakh each for the deceased in the road accident that took place in Uri. He has also announced relief of Rs 10,000 for the injured in the accident.
Omar Abdullah while expressing grief over the accident conveyed his solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved families. He also prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls and early recovery of the injured.
Meanwhile, Minister for Health and Medical Education, Taj Mohi-ud-Din visited the families of those killed in accident at Uri and expressed his heart felt sympathies with them.
The Minister also handed over relief cheques of Rs. 1 lakh each to the kin of four Uri residents and handed over the fifth cheque to DC, Ramban for onward disbursement to the fifth killed person who hailed from Ramban district.
Meanwhile, the District Administration, Baramulla handed over relief cheques to the injured also.
The ADDC, Mukhtar visited SKIMS and handed over cheques worth Rs. 10,000 each to all those injured in the accident.
