RANCHI, Dec 9:
Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today asked the school managements not to create discrimination among the children and said if any information in this regard is received than strict action would be taken against the culprits.
The instructions of the Chief Minister followed after a news was published in a local newspaper pointing out that a divyang child Jigisha Khaitan was denied admission in a leading private school of Dhanbad. The issue was also brought before the Chief Minister also who took prompt cognizance of the issue and directed the school management to ensure the admission of the child.
Post the instructions of the chief minister admission of Jigisha Khaitan was done in the school. After the admission was done Mr Das thanked the school management through a tweet. Mr Das said the state government has accorded priority to improve the education sector in the state. He said the children belonging to the poor, workers, farmers and people standing in the last strata of the society should go to the schools. The Chief Minister said the teachers of government and private schools should also show their care towards the children. He asked them to make sure that all children should get equal education than only the state would become prosperous and wealthy. Mr Das said the State Government was committed to provide quality education to all the children of the state. (UNI)
