SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today hailed the legislators of Jammu and Kashmir for effectively highlighting the problems confronting the State and its people in the Assembly.
She said many politicians have to risk their lives to reach this House through a democratic process due to the prevailing situation in the Valley.
“Some of the legislators have even sacrificed their lives and I pay my heartfelt tributes to them on this occasion,” she said while addressing a function here in connection with conferring of Best Legislator awards for the years 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15.
Mehbooba hailed the legislators for effectively highlighting the problems confronting the State and its people in the House. (AGENCIES)
