CMAT test centre at Srinagar cancelled

SRINAGAR, Sept 23: According to Secretary,  Higher Education, Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad, the students appearing in the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)-2015-16 conducted by AICTE, who have opted Jammu as Second choice have been allotted new centre at Govt College of Engineering & Technology, Chak Bhalwal, Jammu.
AICTE has also informed the candidates through email, SMS and notification on website.
The testing window for computer based first test for admission for year 2015-16 will be opened for four days i.e. from September 25, 2014 to September 28, 2014 in 60 cities in India.
The test was scheduled at two cities i.e Jammu & Srinagar on September 27 & 28, 2014. The admit cards were already issued to the candidates. But, as the situation in Srinagar has not improved after the recent floods, it will not be possible to conduct CMAT exams in Srinagar.
In view of this students appearing for CMAT exam in Srinagar have been re allotted other centres of their second / third choice. The same is being conveyed to the candidates by SMS and through email on registered email id. The candidates have been advised to download their new admit cards through login from CMAT website.
