Coalition failed to protect package employees: Bhalla

JAMMU, Aug 2: Expressing their solidarity with protesting PM package and other migrant employees serving in Kashmir Valley Congress activists led by former Minister and PCC general secretary, Raman Bhalla today joined the protest in front of the Relief Organization here and assured them full support from the Congress party in mitigating their sufferings.
Addressing the protestors Mr Bhalla said that the PDP-BJP coalition has totally failed to ensure protection of the migrant employees in Kashmir Valley which resulted into the another migration of the community members from the Valley.
He said that the Central and State Government are misleading people for their vested interests to remain in power.
Bhalla said that after hard efforts the previous coalition government when he was the Revenue Minister a congenial atmosphere was created to adjust these employees in Valley. The then government tried its best to create a conducive atmosphere in Kashmir so that these employees don’t face hardship of any kind while serving in Valley and posted them near the district headquarters also.
But it was due to the follies of present coalition in the State that these employees have abandoned the Valley and returned to Jammu as they feel insecure in the prevailing atmosphere in Kashmir, he added.
Mr Bhalla was accompanied by M N Pandita, vice chairman, PCC (Migrant Cell),  Shadi Lal Pandita its co-convener, Bansi Lal Raina, general secretary, Ramesh Kumar coordinator and Shadi Lal Pandita and others.
