SRINAGAR, May 12: Amar Singh College Srinagar organized annual road race today.
The event started from Nehru Park to Nishat Bagh.
The race was flagged off by the Principal of the College, in which 130 students participated.
The first position was bagged by Zeeshan Ali of BG 1st year completing a distance of 7 km’s in 25 minutes. Adil Mushtaq and Mudasir Dar, both from BG 1st year, after covering the same distance in 25.6 minutes and 25.9 minutes respectively claimed second and third positions respectively.
Principal of the college distributed prizes among the first ten winners.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal said that the college has produced the players of the international repute in the past and will continue the same in future.
Convener Sports Committee of the College and Physical Director announced that the annual college cycle race will be held on May 18.
