Combined School XI enters finals

JAMMU, May 26: Outplaying MHAC School Nagbani by a big margin of 64 runs in semifinals, Combined School XI entered the finals of the ongoing T20 Cricket Tournament, organized by RRL Academy at the Academy grounds, here.
Earlier, batting first, Combined School XI scored a decent total of 165 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Aditya Chib top scored with 56 runs, while Sarthak Peshin and Harsh Dev Singh contributed unbeaten 43 and 31 runs to the total respectively.
In reply, Nagbani School bundled out for 111 runs in 19.2 overs, thus lost the match by 54 runs. Aditya Uppal was the top scorer with 44 runs, while Arya Sachvansh Thakur contributed 18 runs to the total. For Combined School XI, Sanjay Sharma took 3 wickets, while Murthvan and Jugjap bagged 2 wickets each and Aditya Chib claimed one wicket. Aditya Chib was adjudged man of the match for his superb bowling display.
