JAMMU, Oct 17: Superintendent of Police (SP) Headquarters Ramnish Gupta has asked the people to come forward in sharing information related to crime in their area.
He stated this while chairing a meeting at Rehal area of Bishnah. Various numberdars, sarpanches, BDCs and chowkidars of the area participated in the meeting.
A threadbare discussion took place about eradication of drugs and other crime related issues.
SP briefed the participants to aware the people of their respective areas to maintain social distancing and wear face masks during travelling and follow COVID sops. Other important issues discussed were regarding illegal mining, bovine smuggling, illicit liquor and various other important issues.
SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta flanked by SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and SHO Bishnah Inspector Joginder Singh gave a patient hearing to the public and assured them of addressing the genuine demands in shortest possible time.
Moreover, main emphasis was given on informing the police on any suspicious object or light found in the sky which can be drone.
In the end, SHO Bishnah Inspector Joginder Singh presented vote of thanks.
