JAMMU, Dec 21: Government today constituted a committee to determine the rates for documentaries and short duration films and selection of the topics/subject in consultation with concerned head of the departments.
Director Information is the Chairman of the Committee while as FA/CAO Information Department, representatives of Doordarshan Kendra, Srinagar, Radio Kashmir, Srinagar and Film Production Officer, Directorate of Information are its members.
The documentaries will be made by Director Information on receipt of proposals from experienced and reputed agencies.
Meanwhile, Government has ordered that the rates for the production of documentary and other short duration films will remain the same for the current financial year as were applicable for the previous financial year.
