JAMMU, Nov 25: Communal Harmony Week which had begun on November 19, 2013 in the College premises and was inaugurated by Prof (Dr) Shafqat Hussain Rafiqi, Principal of the college, concluded here today.
Various activities were performed by the NSS volunteers during the week, which included slogan writing, poster making and debating competitions.
In poster making, Kajal Parihar of B Sc Part-III, Barkha Parihar of BSc Part-III and Shivalika Shan of B Sc Part-III were adjudged as 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively by a penal of judges including Prof Pawan Sharma, Prof SK Sen and Prof MM Mattoo.
Iqra Farooq, BA Part-III, Smriti Sharma BSc-III and Sanya Rashid BA-III got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively in slogan writing, while in debating competition Kajal Parihar, Salma Banoo and Mohsin Hussain were adjudged 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Principal of the College was the chief guest, while Prof SK Sen, NSS PO of the College presented vote of thanks.
