KISHTWAR, Dec 30: A conductor died after falling from a mini-bus at Bus-Stand Chatroo here today.
As per police sources, a man identified as Imtiaz, son of Abdul Rasheed Dar, a resident of Horna fall from mini-bus bearing registration number JK06-0837 at Bus-Stand Chatroo and died on the spot after coming under the wheels of the vehicle. The man was engaged with the mini-bus as conductor.
After getting information, police rushed to the spot and the body was shifted to Public Health Centre (PHC) Chatroo, where after conducting autopsy, it was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Chatroo police station and investigation started.
