Cong criticizes Govt for increase in diesel, petrol rates

Jammu, July 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has criticized the State Government’s decision to enhance the tax rate on petrol and diesel in the State, as a result the prices of petrol and diesel will go up.
In a statement JKPCC has criticized the move of state government which will increased the rate of petrol and diesel by about Rs. 2 per liter, which will further burden the common people in the State.
PCC has said that when the prices of all essential commodities are already touching sky and have gone manifolds increase in the recent period, the increase in the rate of diesel and petrol by the State Government is totally unjustified and against the interest of the people, said Ravinder Sharma official spokesman of PCC.
