JAMMU, July 15: As there are allegations on more corrupt former Ministers belonging to Congress and NC, BJP demands that all such elements should be booked under law of the land. This was stated by BJP State chief spokesperson Sunil Sethi while addressing media persons along with Sate spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan at party headquarters today.
Sethi said that the Party appreciates the efforts put by SVO in exposing Congress Minister and expects that more such faces will be exposed in future for their involvement in corrupt practices and making huge properties. He said that both the Congress and NC had been habitual of shielding the tainted ministers during their rule in the State, which encouraged them to indulge in loot and fleece.
Sunil Sethi, while reiterating Party’s categorical assurance of ending corruption, providing good governance and ensuring development, said that not even a single case of corruption has been noticed during the four month rule of PDP-BJP coalition Government, while many developmental projects and activities have been taken into hand.
The BJP chief spokesperson said that the party appreciates the co-operation being extended by the Narendra Modi-led Government adding that recently four new trains have been announced for Kashmir, which will result into development, promotion of tourism and employment generation. “Announcement of rupees 25 thousand crores by Union Minister for Road, Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, for construction of Highways in the State will lessen the distances, provide modern road facilities and help in development and progress, he said.
“ Provision of rupees 1670 crores for power reforms by the Union Government will enable the State to have more infrastructure for ensuring round the clock supply of electricity as has been promised by BJP” Sethi said.
Sethi assured that the pace of development will be accelerated as the party is working to fulfill the election promises made to the public and announcement for AIIMS for Jammu will be made as per promise.
