Cong leader raises issues of Sajalta village

JAMMU, Nov 18: Senior Congress leader Sumeet Magotra conducted tour of village Sajalta adjoining locality near Railway Station Udhampur and listened the problems of the people.
During interaction, a large number of people highlighted their difficulties. People disclosed that their locality has been situated at height, above an adjoining Nallah and due to soil erosion, several houses have become unsafe. They demanded raising of stone crates along this area to save the land and houses of the locals.
They further disclosed that the old ancient natural source of water (Bowli) and also another source of drinking water of the people of adjoining area, have been damaged due to soil erosion. Magotra assured to take up this issue with the concerned higher officials.
