JAMMU, June 11: Taking a dig on senior Congress leader Tara Chand who in a statement termed Congress Party as a dependable political platform for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) J&K chief Rajesh Gupta said he is astonished that how Congress leaders are misleading the people of UT by their art of spreading lies.
Rajesh Gupta said, “Congress party is spent force now. It is a shadow of what it used to be. Infighting and making individual lobbies among J&K Congress leaders has not ended. As long as the Party is beset with this crab mentality, there seems no hope for its revival.”
The NDPI president warned Congress not to live in misconception that people have forgotten the past Congress rule and its corruption era. He said Congress leaders were liers by character and that they never fulfilled their promises in any of the states they were elected, particularly in J&K.”
Gupta appealed the people not to get swayed by false propaganda of the Congress and stand against the divisive, wrong and anti-people policies of the Congress. Gupta assured that his party would continue to work for the well-being of the people.
