JAMMU, Apr 18: A joint delegation of senior leaders of Congress and National Conference led by PCC (I) chief GA Mir today met the Election Commission of India in New Delhi and apprised it of their experience and the role of the State Government during the campaigning, besides discussing the overall situation in the Valley especially Anantnag Lok Sabha constituency.
The delegation gave a detailed presentation to the Election Commission about the situation and shared their experience during the period of campaigning for the Anantnag Lok Sabha constituency for which the Commission had deferred by-poll from April 12 to May 25 recently.
