SAMBA, Aug 1: Congress activists under the leadership of senior Party leader and general secretary of JKPCC S Manjit Singh held a demonstration at Vijaypur protesting against the reported controversial statement of Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh.
The Congress activists raised the slogans against the BJP and coalition Government in the State.
Addressing the protestors S Manjit Singh said that it is unfortunate that Deputy Chief Minster has given such a controversial statement on Burhan Wani who was not only a dreaded terrorist but also the area commander for entire Kashmir of a militant outfit which is involved in waging a war against country for over last two decades.
