JAMMU, Apr 10: Various communities are celebrating their annual or bi-annual congregations on April 14, 2015 at their respective places of worship with full religious fervor and enthusiasm.
Seth Biradari is going to hold annual congregation at Bawa Kailakh Dev Asthan on April 14. General secretary of the Biradari Shakti Dutt Sharma said the festivities will start with Akhand Ramayan Path on April 13 at 8 am and Bhog will be on April 14 at 9 am onwards. Swami Dinesh Bharti will deliver religious discourses. All Biradari members have been appealed to participate and obtain blessings of Bawa Ji.
All India Lamma (Mahajan) Biradari in its general body meeting decided to hold half-yearly congregation on April 14 at Bua Datti Mandir, village Sanyal, tehsil Hiranagar. On April 13 Mata Ka Jagran will start at 7:30 pm and Havan will be held on April 14 at 8 am. Kanjak Poojan will be held at 9 am and Bhandara at 11 am onwards. All devotees have been requested to attend the congregation and get the blessings of Bua Datti.
Khajuria Biradari will hold its bi-annual congregation at the temple of Kuldevta Shree Bawa Sidh Ji Maharaj, Rajpura (Opposite Ambedkar School), near Municipal Park, Rajpura Mangotrian Jammu. Biradari president R C Khajuria said the function will start withholding of Havan, Kirtan, Kanya Poojan and other rituals. Puran Ahuti will be performed at 10 am, followed by Bhandara. Oranizers have appealed the Biradari members to participate and invoke blessings of the deity.
