Construct bridge at villages Jig and Chajj

This is to draw the attention of the District Administration Udhampur and sub division Chenani towards construction of a concrete bridge over Tawi river at villages Jig and Chajj in Chenani tehsil.
In the absence of the bridge , people had been using a temporary wooden bridge which is not safe, as many people have lost their lives in these villages, particularly during rainy season.
About 500 families live in these two Panchayats and these peoples are subjected to grave inconvenience in fetching food items, and other material.
The people have raised this problem, time and again with the elected representatives and at other fora but nothing has been done so far. Keeping the plight of people in view, it is requested that a bridge be constructed at this place at the earliest.

Necessity of a park
We the residents of Ekta Vihar Kunjwani and Rakh Bandhu area want to bring to the notice of the authorities the difficulties faced by us due to non availability of a park in the area. The area is thickly populated and is inhabited by a large number of employees, ex-employees including other segments of the society.
But no park is available in the area for morning/evening walks and recreation of the children. Sometime back we used to use the road leading to Sehora/Bishnah for walks but now due to the heavy traffic on this road it is almost impossible to walk on this road.
We further bring to notice of the authorities that a suitable place for the purpose of construction of a park is available in the area. This is a stretch between the Cybernatics School and Balol nallah alongside the canal which is about eight hundred metres in length.
We have suggested this place to our Corporator who has also visited the place personally and found it suitable for a park and promised to take up the matter with the authorities. But more than three years have lapsed and there is no further progress.
We request Mayor, Dy Mayor, MLA concerned and other concerned authorities to kindly look into the matter on priority which in addition to the development is also a health issue of a large population of the area. We hope an early action in the matter.

Plea to LG
Kind attention of the Lieutenant Governor of J&K is invited towards the hardships faced by the residents of Street No. 12, Sector No. 6 Ward No. 43 due to water logging during rainy season. This inundates all the households of the ward thereby causing immense inconvenience to residents in free movement and at the same time damages property. This problem has been there for the last so many years.
Though we approached the Municipal authorities a number of times, they tackle us on the pretext of paucity of funds.
You are therefore again requested to kindly issue necessary instructions to the JMC authorities Jammu to take up the left out work of drainage improvement in street No. 12, Sector No. 6, Nanak Nagar Jammu, to save the dwellers from unnecessary hardship in rainy season.

Shift garbage dump
It happens only in J&K. A passenger shed at Rathain Udhampur has been turned into a dumping ground by scrap dealers.
One wonders how this site has been converted into dumping ground by the concerned authorities.
The site has not only vitiated the local environment but it has become a dangerous place as it has increased the chances of accidents here.
We urge the authorities to look into the matter, and get the garbage site shifted to other places.
