JAMMU, Apr 30: A contractor was found dead in mysterious circumstances at his residence here in Khillone Wali Gali, Pacca Danga.
According to a police spokesperson, the contractor identified as Vinod Sagar (48) son of late Vidya Sagar, a resident of Khillone Wali Gali, Pacca Danga, was found dead at his residence, this afternoon.
On getting information, Chowk Chabutra police reached the spot and shifted the body of the deceased to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for post mortem.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started proceedings under Section 174 CrPC.
