JAMMU, Jan 19: Contractor’s Association, Estates Division Jammu, today condemned the newly framed Contractor’s Association terming it totally fake and a fraud association.
In a meeting, Chairman of the association, Raja Mehmood Ahmed, said there is already a union working for the welfare of contractors and the association sat on dharna for 86 days since month of May last year for the release of payments of contractors.
He appealed the Governor NN Vohra to enquire into the matter and take legal action against those who are playing with the emotion and sentiments of their team of contractors which is working for the welfare of contractors from the last 15 years.
Those who were present in the meeting were Sanjay Soi (president), Rajinder Kumar (vice-president), Kuldeep Sharma (general secretary), KD Singh (media secretary), Daljeet Singh, Bhupeshwar Singh Jamwal, Sanjay Abrol, Nazir Ahmed, Neeraj Gupta and others.
