SRINAGAR, May 2: J&K State Contractual Doctors Association took out a candle march here to project their demands.
The contractual doctors assembled at Press Enclave here and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Bilal Beigh, general secretary of the association said that they are working since years on a meager salary with a hope to get regularized on time after putting 7 years of contractual services.
He demanded timely regularization of their services and added that regularization should be effected from the date of completion of 7 years of contractual services, inclusion of contractual service for pensionary and seniority benefits and immediate disbursement of pending due arrears.
