MENDHAR, July 24: A police constable of JKAP, posted at Chakkan-da-Bagh has been booked by Mendhar police in a rape case.
Official sources said that on the complaint of the young woman and her husband, working in Army, Mendhar Police registered a case Fir No. 116, 2016 against the Constable Qadeer Ahmed, son of Said Mohammed (Retd ASI), resident of village Nakka Manjhari. The victim is resident of village Ari in Mendhar. The cop entered the house of the victim and escaped after committing rape. The accused was still evading arrest.
