DODA, Nov 29: A cop today got killed when his car of Maruti make in which he was travelling rolled down and landed in a deep gorge at Batra near Sub District Headquarters Gandoh, Bhallessa.
The ill fated vehicle bore the Registration Number JK02N-7762 and was on way from Gandoh to Batra when the mishap took place.
Locals rushed to the spot and shifted the victim to PHC Gandoh and where doctors referred him to GMC Doda. However he succumbed to his injuries at GMC Doda
The deceased was identified as SgCt Bahadur Singh resident of Pora Bala, posted at SDPO Office Gandoh.
Police has taken cognizance of the matter.
