Corona warriors new team will be boon in Health Sector: Varinderjeet

JAMMU, June 20: Vice president of Jammu and Kashmir, BJP, Varinderjeet Singh, has termed the decision of the Union Government under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to set up a big team of one lakh Corona warriors a positive and good step.
In a statement, here, today Varinderjeet Singh, said that by setting up this team, the existing work load on healthcare workers, who have been providing best services for the last one and half year, will be reduced to great extent. In addition, deficiencies in some of the essential health services and sanitary matters, the requirement of health workers will also be fulfilled.
He said Government of India has started course of training youth under this programme with two to three months duration. This training programme will be focused to meet the demand of mainly six sectors, like nursing, home care, critical care, sample collection, and preparing medical technicians with the responsibility to run the modern equipments.
If the Third Wave of COVID-19 affects India, these trained healthcare workers will prove to be a big boon in fighting this virus, he added.
