JAMMU, Mar 1: Cosmopolitan Public School, Sidhra organized T20 Cricket Tournament in the School ground, here.
After holding its 1st Cricket Tournament in 2014, it is the 2nd Cricket Tournament held at the School. Four teams frawn from different classes participated in the Tournament, with Team A (7th class ) , Team B ( 8th class ), Team C ( 9th class ) and Team D ( 10th class ).
In the summit clash, Team D (10th Class) outplayed Team B (8th Class ) to emerge winner and clinch title trophy.
The final match was officiated by Ravi Ji and Meenakshi Bhat, while the event was organized by Priti Manhas.
The winning team included Talib Hussain (Captain), Kedar Nath (Vice Caption) , Afnan, Talip Chauhan, Jaffer, Shabir, Rajat, Salman, Wasim, Deepak and Akash.
Vinod Raina, Principal of the School and A K Bhan, School Chairman were the chief guests, who felicitated the winners and runners-up teams on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guests lauded the efforts of the winners and the runners-up teams for their splendid display.
He said sports serves for delight, ornament and agility.
