Council, DYSS need to work together for better results: Aggarwal

JAMMU, July 22: Director General of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Navin Aggarwal while interacting with the members of J&K State Sports Council said the time was ripe that the two elitist sports bodies of the State work together to achieve better results.
Aggarwal said this while chairing a meeting of the newly nominated members of J&K State Sports Council in his office chambers at the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports, Sports House MA Stadium, here today.
He said that the two bodies are the two sides of the same coin, adding that the DYSS nourishes nursery, while Council polishes skill of the budding players through skilled coaches.
Earlier, the meeting began with the introductory session, wherein the newly appointed members of Council were introduced with the DG Sports.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Ved Prakash, Deputy Director Sports, Jammu, Tirath Ram, DYSSO Jammu and Council members including Rangil Singh, Dr Nirmolak Singh, Rashid Ahmed Choudhary, Brij Baloria, Ram Khajuria, Narinder Gupta and Darshan Sharma.
