Court directs CB to investigate complaint against SHO, others

JAMMU, Mar 11: Special Mobile Magistrate Jammu, R K Abrol has directed the SSP Crime Branch to investigate the complaint against SHO Police Station, Gandhi Nagar, Inspector Bishnesh Kumar and one Parvez Choudhary within a period of one month and submit compliance report by or before April 12 positively.
The complainant Varun Gupta, son of Bodh Raj Gupta of Govindpura Old Satwari has submitted before the court that he has been allegedly thrashed and assaulted by one Parvez Ahmad, son of Akbar Choudhary, a resident of Apsara Road adjoining Peer Baba with the assistance of SHO Inspector Bishnesh Kumar over a dispute of a shop at Auqaf Market, Gandhi Nagar.
After hearing the complainant, the Special Mobile Magistrate observed, “the matter is required to be dealt under law as the law executors have become the law violators in this case”.
With these observations, the court has forwarded the complaint to the SSP Crime Branch under Section 156 (3) CrPC for investigation within a period of one month.
