SRINAGAR, May 27: Jammu and Kashmir High Court has ordered deportation of six Pakistani prisoners to their native country while as it has quashed detention orders under Public Safety Act (PSA) against three Kashmiri detainees.
The directions in this regard were passed by the court after hearing separate petitions filed by the foreigners as well as the Kashmiri prisoners through their counsel advocate Mir Shafaqat Hussain.
The court directed that Syed Moinullah, Jabvaid Aslam Sheikh, Sarfaraz Ahmad Raina, Rubeena, Asif Khan and Mohammad Sagheer should be deported to Pakistan.
The court also directed the concerned authorities to take steps for push back and complete exercise within a period of four weeks.
The court has quashed detention orders under Public Safety Act of against Arif Hussain (under No 12/DMB/PSA of 2014) son of Abdul Samad of Aitullah Mohalla Bandipora, Fayaz Ahmad Lone (PSA/2014/21) son of Abdul Rashid and Mehraj-ud-Din Rather (DMB/PSA/2014/22), both residents of Kranshivalan Colony Sopore. While quashing the detention orders, the court directed Government to release the trio.
