JAMMU, Dec 19: Special Judge NIA Sunit Gupta today granted 30 days judicial custody of PDP leader Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra, who was arrested by National Investigation Agency (NIA) for allegedly conspiring with Hizbul Mujahideen militants to get their support during the 2019 Parliamentary elections.
Parra was booked in a case related to his alleged “close links” with Irfan Shafi Mir, who was arrested along with Hizbul Mujahideen militant Naveed Babu and suspended Deputy Superintendent of Police Davinder Singh earlier this year.
After perusal of the application moved by the CIO and the CD files, the court granted 30 days judicial remand of Parra.
