JAMMU, Dec 2: Chinar Primary School (CPS), the primary wing of Sainik School Nagrota celebrated its Annual Cultural Fest 2023 on the theme ‘Globe is our Home’ at Sainik School Auditorium here today.
The event was graced by Dr Namita Singh, Zonal Vice President of the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) as the Chief Guest. Captain (IN) AK Desai, Principal of Sainik School Nagrota and Chairman of CPS, Lieutenant Colonel Amit Selot, Vice Principal, Academic Secretary of CPS were also present there.
The fest commenced with a formal welcome extended to Chief Guest Dr Namita Singh, who illuminated the traditional lamp, marking the inauguration of the cultural extravaganza. Parveen Akhtar Desai, Headmaster of Chinar Primary School presented the School annual report by shedding light on the remarkable achievements of the institution during the Academic Session 2023-24.
The event reached its pinnacle with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where the Chief Guest Dr Namita Singh presented trophies to the top three houses and those were Tagore House, Gandhi House and Nehru House. Namita Singh commended the energetic performances of the children and applauded the dedicated efforts of the school administration and staff in nurturing the talents of the students on every front.
