JAMMU, Nov 17: Singh Cricket Club (SCC) Akhnoor trounced DNS Cricket Club Bhalwal by 73 runs at Country Cricket Stadium Gharota, here today.
Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor won the toss and elected to bat first.
Batting first, Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor scored 122 runs by losing all wickets in 17.3 overs wherein Rahul Sharma made 57 runs and Robin Verma scored 20 runs. From the bowling side, Kapil Singh and Ankush shared 3 wickets each, while Sikka got 2 wickets and Manto and Bannu shared 1 wicket each.
In reply, DNS Club bundled out at 49 in 12.1 overs, wherein Ankush and Shimpu were the batters who made 10 runs each. From the bowling side, Sham Singh Langeh and Sumit Pandit shared 4 wickets each and Binny Kesar and Abhinandan Sharma shared 1 wicket each.
Sham Singh Langeh was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance, while Dayal Singh and Girdhari Lal were umpires and Rajja acted as scorer.
