JAMMU, Nov 20: Inter-Departmental Cricket Tournament was today inaugurated at IECS Polytechnic in the presence of Prof KG Gupta, Principal IECS Polytechnic, Er. Ajay Singh Jamwal, Dean Administration, Sonika Koul, Coordinator and all Head of Departments.
The inaugural match was played between teams of Civil Engineering Department and Electrical Engineering Department. Electrical department scored 42 runs in stipulated overs.
Civil Engineering Department surpassed the target with five balls remaining. Rohit Kumar was declared as man of match.
Darshan and Abhinav Sharma were the umpires for the match.
