Crime Branch books 10 cheaters for issuing fake appointment letters

JAMMU, Mar 1: Crime Branch Jammu has booked 10 cheaters for issuing fake appointment orders in lieu of money.
A case FIR number 04/2014 under Section 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B RPC has been registered against Mamta Devi, wife of Jasvir Singh of Akalpur Jammu, Ramesh Chander of Ghallan Tattapani Rajouri, Ranjeet Singh of Allya Teryath, Reasi, Mohd Riyaz of Gurdhan Bala Rajouri, Mohd Mushtaq of Mourian Poonch, Shambu Dayal Yadav of Kolkata, Premjeet Kumar, Ravi Kumar of New Delhi, Raj Kishore of Kolkata and Ajay Kumar.
As per the complaint, lodged by Susheel Sharma of Sangrampur Jammu, Shiv Jyoti of Ratanpur Jammu and Gopal Krishan of Sangechak Jammu, the accused persons allured and cheated them for an amount of Rs 4, 50,000 on pretext of providing them jobs in Railway Department.
The Crime Branch verifications revealed that the collected amount was deposited in PNB Patna and ICICI Bank in the account owned by Premjeet Kumar, Raj Kishore Barik alias R K Singh and Ajay Kumar. It was also revealed that Shamboo Dayal Yadav and his colleagues impersonated themselves as officers of Railway Department and issued the fake appointment orders in favour of the complainants.
