JAMMU, Aug 4: Crossed Swords Division at Akhnoor organized a vivid and colourful glimpse of its military equipment and the military band to more than 3000 children of various schools and the locals, today.
The events are aimed at generating awareness on the capability and history of the rich tradition of the Indian Army.
The display of the military equipment at the premises of the Army Public School, Akhnoor, comprised of various Artillery Guns, Radars, Infantry Weapons, Military Vehicles, Communication Systems and Surveillance devices.
In another parallel event at Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1, Akhnoor, the Crossed Swords Division organized a Band Display programme for the children, parents and the locals of Akhnoor.
The Band played ceremonial, marching tunes and patriotic songs which infused nationalistic spirit and patriotism in the students.
