CRPF extends help to ailing Budha Amarnath pilgrim

JAMMU, July 31: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) extended help to an ailing Budha Amarnath pilgrim.
As per official spokesman, at about 1415 hours while down convoy of Shri Budha Amaranth Yatra coming from Mandi, District Poonch to Rajouri, a female yatri namely Hansaben (75), a resident of Vadodara, Gujarat felt extremely ill due to dehydration, nausea and vomiting.
When the fact was communicated to the CRPF Escort Commander, the convoy was halted at Thandi Kassi area and first aid was provided to Hansaben. Thereafter convoy was immediately moved to yatri ground at Rajouri, where Hansaben was carried by a CRPF person from parking area to the medical assistance booth. After given medical treatment, the pilgrim’s condition improved and the convoy was moved further.
“Had the CRPF has not extended all help, it would have been difficult for them to look after Hansaben”, relatives of the pilgrim said. They also prayed for success in good deeds and future endevours of CRPF.
