CRPF organizes football tournament

Srinagar, May 5: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district organised a football tournament for under-14 students.
A spokesman of CRPF said that a total of 20 teams of the Kulgam sub-division contending for the laurels.
The opening ceremony were presided over by DIG operations Mohsin Shaheedi at Sports Stadium Kulgam.
“The objective of this tournament was to encourage and acknowledge the sportsmanship among the youth,” the spokesman said.
While addressing the players, Mohsin Shaheedi said, “The game of football holds quite significant and the sole purpose of organising this event has been truly accomplished, as great zeal and enthusiasm were cheerfully observed among all teams during the event.”
