Crude palm oil futures marginally down on sluggish demand

NEW DELHI, Feb 11: Crude palm oil prices softened by Rs 1.60 to Rs 459.20 per 10 kg in futures market today on sluggish demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in March softened by Rs 1.60, or 0.35 per cent, to Rs 459.20 per 10 kg in business turnover of 222 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in February weakened by Rs 1.30, or 0.29 per cent, to Rs 450.40 per 10 kg in 224 lots.
Analysts said sluggish demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position, mainly put pressure on crude palm oil prices at futures trade. (PTI)
