JAMMU, July 13: Canal Road Walkers Welfare Association (CRWWA) has decided to hold elections of its working committee members in September this year.
In a release issued here, VK Sharma, general secretary of CRWWA, said that the association will also hold its general body meeting in September. He said that the association is functioning since September 1, 2008 for the benefit of walkers. Sharma said that the main objective of the association is to help in maintenance and up-keep of walkway through J&K Bank and other Government agencies.
He said that this walkway has become lifeline for maintenance of good health and also a meeting place for social interaction, sharing of ideas, thoughts and laughters amongst fellow walkers and friends.
