JAMMU, Oct 3: Yeshvinder Singh Jamwal has been nominated as chairman of J&K Commercial Taxes Non-Gazetted Employees Association for Jammu province.
In a meeting of the executive body of the Association held here today under the leadership of Nazir Ahmed Bhat, president of the body at Rail Head complex, new chairman of the Association was nominated. Two more members Sharwan Kumar and Sayed Qamar Ali Rizvi were in the race of the post. But later Mr Jamwal was unanimously nominated as the new chairman in place of Surinder Gupta who vacated this post after his induction in the Gazetted rank recently.
Sharwan Kumar has been nominated as chief spokesman while Sayed Qamar Ali as vice-chairman of the Association. S R Kundal was nominated as additional secretary. The newly inducted office bearers resolved to work for the welfare of the employees of the J&K Commercial Taxes Department with full dedication and project their issues.
