JAMMU, Feb 20: Chamber of Traders Federation (CTF) here today has demanded extension in due dates for filing GST returns for J&K based assesses.
In a press conference Neeraj Anand, President CTF said in view of curfew and violence after Pulwama terrorist attack, internet services remained suspended.
“We have made a representation to authorities here in Jammu besides our National Body CAIT has sent a representation to Finance Minister over the issue. We presume that Government will surely extend the due dates,” Anand said.
He reacted sharply to a statement issued by Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry holding JCCI responsible for alleged arson during Jammu Bandh.
“A trade body like KCCI should allow designated law enforcing agencies to handle their domain and refrain from issuing statements based on hallucinations. We need to stop hate based politics,” he maintained.
Anand further said that Jammu is an epitome of pluralistic society and the all inclusive Dogra culture is the reason that Jammu has become Refugee Capital of sorts happily welcoming Kashmiri Pandits, West Pak Refugees, Border Migrants and all communities suffering on account of terrorism.
