JAMMU, Oct 29: Cueists continued to display exemplary skills on the third day of the ongoing State Senior Snooker Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association (JKBSA), at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
In the first league match of the day, Jaswinder Singh beat Furkan Wani by 2-1, whereas in the second match, Aseem Ghai registered win over Gurjeev Singh by 2-0.
Nasir Hassan defeated Manav Khurana by 2-0 in the third match, whereas in the fourth game, Pranav Mahajan registered win over Mahipal Singh by 2-0.
In the fifth match, Lovesh lost to Wasim Iqbal by 2-0, whereas in the sixth game, Priyank Gupta crushed Abhishek Goswami by 2-1.
Saaid Bashir registered win over Manik Sharma by 2-1 in the seventh game, whereas in the eighth match, Krishna beat Abhishek Sharma by 2-0.
In the ninth match, Stanzin registered win over Huzaiff by 2-0, whereas in the tenth game, Nikhil Kohli beat Shubam Prabhakar by 2-1.
Wasim Iqbal smashed Abhishek Goswami by 2-1 in the eleventh game, whereas in the twelfth game, Marshal Dutta outplayed Akhil Sharma by 2-0.
In the thirteenth match, Avish Sharma crushed Kashif by 2-0, whereas in the fourteenth game, Nassir Hussain beat Pranav Mahajan by 2-1.
The matches were being held under strict supervision of the JKBSA members and played with the rules and regulations of Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI).
The matches were officiated by Rakesh Sharma, Pawan Khajuria and Ashok.
According to General Secretary, JKBSA, Vishal Abrol, the Association is organizing District Billiards and Snooker Championship at Youth Club Poonch from October 31 under the supervision of Organising Secretary Er Saleem Banday, Member, JKBSA.
