JAMMU, Jan 22: BSF Ankur Play School, Jammu celebrated here today ‘SOIREE’ – the cultural event. Sudha Joshi, the first lady of BSF and President BWWA presided over the function as the chief guest. Pummy Sekhon (Executive Member BWWA), Sweety Vinod (President, BWWA, Frontier Headquarter BSF, Jammu), Dr S S Khokkar, Principal BSF Sr. Sec. School were among the other dignitaries present in the function.
The function started with the welcome speech and lighting of lamp by the chief guest. Annual report of the school was read by Gayatri Kotwal, Head Mistress of the BSF Primary School. The students of Ankur Play School presented a colourful cultural programme which included dance items like welcome, Hello, Chinese & Nepalese dances, a dogri song and a Jungle Carnival.
Meritorious students were honoured by the chief guest and other dignitaries on the occasion.
Sweety Vinod, president BWWA Jammu Frontier presented vote of thanks.
