JAMMU, Aug 25: A colourful cultural programme on the theme ‘unity in diversity’ was presented at Satchel, Centre for Promotion of Music, Art and Languages at Vikas Colony Paloura, here today.
Children from various schools performed folk and classical dances on the occasion. Ahana Sadhu, Akanksha, Sneha, Mayor Annad and Vineet Gupta were adjudged the best performers.
Prof OP Sharma, Principal KCS College of Education was the chief guest on the occasion.
Patron RK Malaldar on the occasion said that children have dreams, passions and hopes and their bubbling enthusiasm has to be regulated and utilized for the welfare of the country.
Choreography was done by Naina Razdan and the proceedings of the programme were conducted by Deepika Sathu.
