JAMMU, Feb 6: The police has registered an FIR against a customer for creating nuisance and abusing staff of J&K Bank branch at Durga Nagar in Ban Talab area.
A police spokesman identified the accused as Om Parkash Gupta, son of Mulakh Raj, resident of Sector 2, Durga Nagar (Ban Talab), Jammu. He said an FIR No. 35/2022 under sections 353,504, 506 IPC has been registered against the accused person for misbehaving with the lady staff and others at the J&K Bank Branch, Durga Nagar and creating nuisance over a petty issue, on the complaint of the branch head and staff.
SHO, Domana, Insp Mahesh Sharma when contacted said that Incharge Police Post Chinore SI, Amit Roshan has been appointed as Investigating Officer in the case. He said the accused has been booked for the offence and he will be arrested shortly.
