CVPP celebrates 7th Formation Day

JAMMU, June 13: Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Ltd (CVPP) today celebrated its 7th Formation Day by organizing functions at its Corporate Office Jammu, Project/Site offices at Kishtwar and Camp Offices at Srinagar and Faridabad.
The organization has been incorporated for execution of three hydro electric projects Pakal Dul, Kiru and Kwar with aggregate capacity of 2164 Mega Watts at Chenab river basin in District Kishtwar.
The main function organized at its Corporate Office Jammu was presided over by the Managing Director of the Company, MS Babu, who while addressing the officers and officials, stressed the need for making well co-ordinated efforts to take up the construction of the projects and complete in scheduled time at minimum costs.
The Managing Director informed that tenders for various packages of Pakal Dul and Kiru projects are at advanced stages and the major contracts are likely to be awarded this year. Tenders for Kwar project are also taken up after getting the required clearances from CEA & MoEF. He asked the employees to work with dedication and high spirit to overcome the impediments in the way for timely achievement of the goal set for the Company.
Earlier, a cultural programme was also presented by the employees.
