JAMMU, Dec 17: J&K State Bharat Scouts and Guides Jammu organized Cycle Rally under ‘Fit India Movement’ wherein nearly 50, Scouts/ Guides and heads of various institutions participated, here today.
MM Joshi, State Public Commissioner was the chief guest on this event and flagged off the rally, whereas Usha Chunni, Manjeet Kour, Harvinder Kour, Ashok Sharma, Smiley Gupta, Sayar Rajawat, S. Harcharan Singh, RC Vaid, Haroon Malik, PL Dubey and Kour were also present during the function.
The rally started from State Headquarters Gandhi Nagar Jammu and passed through Gandhi Nagar, Shastri Nagar and Nanak Nagar with the aim to promote “Fit India Movement” in each corner of the Jammu. Later, scouts/guides, rover/ rangers and adult leaders distributed masks at various places of Gandhi Nagar.
The chief guest appreciated the steps taken by Bharat Scouts and Guides to spread message of this noble movement. The rally was organised on direction of Mtr Nasreen Khan, Coordinator-cum- State Secretary, J&K UT Bharat Scouts and Guides Jammu.
